PROVO, Utah, October 31, 2021 (Gephardt Daily) – A GoFundMe account was created in the name of a boy from Provo who was riding a bike on Thursday when he was hit and injured by a hit and run driver.
“Henry was the victim of a hit-and-run while riding his bicycle,” the GoFundMe page explains.
“He has three broken ribs, a broken bone in his face, staples in his leg, grade three liver and kidney lacerations, internal bleeding, concussion, all in addition to a terrible rash on his chest. road covering his whole body. We are at the Primary Children’s Hospital for our third night.
The 8-year-old boy was riding his bike at 5:18 p.m. in the 200 N. 800 West area, southwest of Dixon Middle School.
A nearby Provo police officer rushed to check on the boy, but could not see the registration number of the SUV that was speeding from the scene.
The ministry asked people to suggest possible avenues.
“The vehicle left the scene immediately,” said the police statement. “The police are asking the community for help in identifying the vehicle and / or the driver. The vehicle is a new model of silver Nissan SUV with some minor damage to the front.

The GoFundMe account requested help with the bills associated with the crash.
