Dr. Anna J. Lang (Elliott) passed away on December 13, 2021 at the age of 73.
She was a beloved daughter, wife, mother and grandmother and she will be dearly missed.
She attended UCLA, where she received all of her degrees, culminating in a doctorate in geography for environmental fieldwork done in the Deep Canyon Reservation. She was a gifted and innovative educator, teaching at UCLA, University of Oklahoma, University of Miami, and Weber State University.
She is survived by her 46 year old husband (Harold Elliott), her daughters (Dora Elliott Hamilton and Sarah Elliott), her stepdaughter (Laura Elliott Adams), her grandchildren (Alexander and Andrew Hamilton), her father ( Murray Lang) and his sisters (Paula Drake and Barbara Lyons).
She was predeceased by her mother (Florence Lang) and her brother (Eric Lang).
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at the Leavitt Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah.
