Brent J McReynolds, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2022, where he joined his parents J. Ray & Elaine Fay McReynolds. Brent was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on July 5, 1951. He attended West High School Class of 1969 and immediately began pursuing his dream of becoming a renowned auto machinist. Brent had his own auto machine shop and parts store, Paul’s Piston Ring Service, where he rebuilt cars, including his coveted 1956 Chevrolet Bel Aire convertible. His favorite pastime was spending time outdoors, where he enjoyed camping, fishing, boating and motorcycling. If Brent had his own theme song, it would be The Eagles “Take it easy”. Those who knew him would agree that his laid back demeanor and characteristic laughter are some of his most memorable traits.

Brent is survived by his children, Alisa (Travis) Ott, Corey McReynolds and Kelly (Tyler) West, his siblings Gary McReynolds, Kim (Pat) McReynolds, Ron (Barb) McReynolds, Kathryn McReynolds Peterson and Brenda McReynolds, grandchildren, Connor (Elizabeth) McReynolds, Cayden Caulfield, Kylea Ott, Halle, Jonas and Charlotte West, great grandchild, Jameson McReynolds and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at West Jordan City Cemetery, 7925 S. 1300 W. West Jordan, UT.
