Santa Clara’s Snow Canyon Little League team is the only team in Utah vying for the opportunity to play in the Little League World Series. And after a dramatic win last week, the Allstars are just one win away from becoming the only Utah team ever to reach this stage.

The Allstars take on Nevada Friday at 3 p.m. on ESPN. Nevada is the same team that Snow Canyon beat to advance to the finals.

Teams and fans across the state have voiced their support for the Little League team since Tuesday’s win. The most recent was the Utah Jazz from their official Twitter account.

Others also took to social media in the hours leading up to the game.

BYU athletic director Tom Holmoe and jazz guard Donovan Mitchell also tweeted their support.

About two hours before the game, Governor Spencer Cox added his thoughts and encouragement.
