Qualtrics: Third Quarter Results Overview

PROVO, Utah (AP) _ Qualtrics International Inc. (XM) reported a third-quarter loss of $233.5 million on Monday.

On a per-share basis, the Provo, Utah-based company said it incurred a loss of 40 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 4 cents per share.

The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of nine analysts polled by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 3 cents per share.

The application software developer posted revenue of $377.5 million during the period, also beating Street’s forecast. Eight analysts polled by Zacks expected $358.7 million.

For the current quarter ending in December, Qualtrics expects its earnings per share to be between 2 cents and 3 cents.

The company said it expects revenue in the range of $380 million to $382 million for the fiscal fourth quarter.

Qualtrics expects annual earnings of between 4 and 5 cents per share, with revenue estimated at $1.45 billion.
