Southern Utah’s new luxury resort pushes the boundaries of adventure travel – are you ready for the stairs to Cave Peak?

WAs Richard Branson and Jeff Bezos have just achieved the ultimate feat of adventure travel by soaring to the edge of space, luxury hotel group Aman has brought a more earthly, but still thrilling, adventure to the world. southern Utah for the brave. Activities on the 600 acres of desert terrain include hiking, rock climbing, and canyoning through the Colorado Plateau, with its undeniably spectacular canyons, mesas, ridges and gorges. the main dish is the latest addition to the Amangiri Adventure Package, billed as “well suited for thrill seekers”. From the Cave Peak Via Ferrata Trail, a challenge in itself, the Cave Peak Staircase climbs 120 steps that rise some 400 feet from takeoff. This vertical ascent route leads to a view at the top of the resort and the surrounding desert terrain. An adrenaline-fueled adventure in the middle of a peaceful desert retreat.

Of course, in the tradition of luxury Aman Resorts, the property includes a 25,000 square foot spa with water pavilion, sauna, steam room, cold tub and private outdoor pavilions. The perfect antidote to those sore muscles after the big climb.

Depending on the time of year, rates at the Amangiri start at $ 3,500 per night (currently $ 5,900) excluding taxes and fees, includes all meals.
