OGDEN – Marathoners can once again participate in Ogden Race Day in person on May 21, 2022. Registration is now open for the Ogden Marathon. The annual event, produced by the GOAL Foundation, has been modified to become a virtual race over the past two seasons due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Local COVID-19 guidelines are being implemented to ensure the safety of all participants, volunteers, vendors and spectators.

A refund option as well as a virtual race will be available if the race is canceled due to COVID-19. Any updates on the Ogden Marathon will be posted on social media at Ogden Marathon Experience Facebook Group and Instagram. The Striders Winter Circuit is a series of workouts offered to all participants to help them prepare for race day. The training consists of five races, each spaced two weeks apart, with increasing distances. The Ogden Marathon team advises those who wish to participate to register now at the best price.

A new 12 km distance has been added to the 2022 race and is limited to 500 places. Participants who wish upgrade to a VIP experience will receive a bag of loot, a VIP coach to the start line, a pre-race continental breakfast and a 15-minute post-race massage. VIP registration provides a tax-deductible donation to help fund the GOAL Foundation Young Runners Program.

The Goal Foundation’s mission is to inspire the great Ogden community and its visitors to Get Out and Live by participating, volunteering and attending recreational events, programs and activities.
